Where we are
Fenwick Street at Halloran Avenue, Brooklyn, NY. Sketch not to scale. The smell is a better guide.
Getting here
By train
A short walk from the train. Come up the stairs, head east on Fenwick, and follow the smell. Plenty of people grab a slice on the way to the platform.
Parking
Street parking only. Fenwick gets easier after 7 PM. Don't double-park on Halloran. The tow truck loves Halloran.
Inside
Eight stools at the window counter and two tables by the oven. It's a shed. Friday nights it's standing room, and if it's full, there's a bench across the street.
Getting in
There's one step at the door. If the step is a problem, call from outside or knock on the window and we'll bring it out to you.
Restroom
For customers. Ask at the counter for the key. It's on a wooden spoon so nobody walks off with it.
Lost and found
Behind the counter for a month: gloves, scarves, one umbrella that's been here since spring. Right now we also have a set of keys, apartment 4. Ask at the counter.
Questions we get a lot
Can I order online?
No. Call (718) 555-0142. A person picks up, and nobody tries to sell you an upgrade.
Do you deliver to Zone 4 after 9?
No. Zone 4 stops taking orders at 9 PM. Insurance thing. Don't ask twice.
Do you take cards?
Yes, at the counter and at the door. There's a $10 minimum on cards.
Is there a gluten-free crust?
No. Everything here lives near flour, and we'd rather tell you than fake it.
Can I get my pie well done?
Ask for it well done when you order. Sal will nod. It means yes.
Do you sell gift cards?
At the register, any amount from $10. They don't expire. Call and we'll have one waiting.
Can I bring my dog?
Service dogs are welcome inside. Everybody else can wait by the window. They usually get a crust.
Are you hiring?
Usually. Drivers most of all. See Jobs.
Call the shop
Orders, catering, "are you open." Phones are picked up from opening until 20 minutes before close.
Catering, jobs, fundraisers, lost and found, complaints about the ranch. Sal reads it in the morning, before the oven gets hot. Same-day orders, call.
